FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing reinforced extruded composite intermediate product containing one or more plastic materials and minced fibers or continuous threads. Note here that fibers or threads are preferably made from one or more non-conductive materials with softening point higher than those of said plastic materials. Method consists in that said fibers or threads are applied on conveyor mainly by gravity and dispersed particles of powder of said plastic materials on fibers or threads at the ratio of 5% to 90% of total weight. Then said particles are mixed with fibers or threads. Obtained mix is heated to temperature exceeding softening point of said materials to produce said intermediate product. Note here that mixing comprises subjecting the mix to electrical field effects perpendicular to conveyor motion direction. Note also that said field may move said particles or threads to homogenise said mix.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
