FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of construction materials and can be used in making boards and panels meant for interior and exterior decoration of buildings, floor coatings, stairs, floors, screed coat, as well as construction dry mixtures. The magnesia cement contains the following in wt %: caustic magnesite 55-63, solution of magnesium salt - magnesium chloride with density of 1.20-1.25 g/cm3 25-27 or magnesium sulphate with density of 1.15-1.20 g/cm3 21-29, a hydrochloric- or sulphuric-acid leaching solution of magnesia copper-nickel waste slag 12-20. The hydrochloric acid leaching solution contains the following in g/l: 10.9-24.4 Fe, 13.2-26.8 SiO2, 2.8-8.1 MgO, 33.0-37.5 Cl and has pH 0.2-2.2, and the sulphuric acid leaching solution contains the following in g/l: 17.5-37.5 Fe, 19.3-36.0 SiO2, 3.3-11.0 MgO, 52-110 SO42- and has pH 0.1-3.0.

EFFECT: high water resistance with sufficiently high strength, as well as a structure which is not prone to cracking.
