FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: centrifugal compressor consists of case with inlet and outlet branches, of rotor, of stator elements, and of suction and discharge chambers. In the inlet branch before the suction chamber there is installed a vortex of gas flow made in form of a ring coaxial to the inlet branch, inside of which there are positioned profiled blades secured to the ring on one side, while on another side interconnected by means of a conic shell (diffuser).

EFFECT: symmetrical and uniform field of rates and pressures of gas flow at output from suction chamber and at input to propeller; increased efficiency of compressor.
