FIELD: mechanical engineering; device for obtaining compressed gases and vacuum. SUBSTANCE: kinetic compression machine has housing with suction and delivery branch pipes, rotor with variable section through passage screw channels and covering member with helical blades forming variable section screw channels. Compressor is furnished with second covering member, and housing id provided with second suction branch pipe. Suction branch pipes are arranged at different sides of housing. Rotor is made in form of shaft with fitted-on working wheels and unloading blade impeller. Through passage screw channels of wheels are formed by helical blades. Channels are limited by two conical surfaces one of which is wheel wall, and the other is division plane between movable and fixed members of compressor. Depth of wheel channels decreases in direction of flow. Each covering member is made in form of diffuser whose screw through passage channels formed by helical blades are limited by two conical surfaces intersecting at wheel inlet level. One of surfaces is diffuser wall, and the other is division plane of compressor movable and fixed members. Depth of diffuser channels is made increasing in direction of flow Blade impeller is placed between working wheels from which it receives torque. Impeller is installed for axial displacement to compensate for temperature expansion of wheels. EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to reduction of hydraulic losses in channels of wheels and diffuser. 4 dwg
