FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: self-phased antenna array, which consists of N-pairs of waveguide antennae which are connected by matched waveguide transmission lines with the same electrical length, includes pairs of waveguide antennae with apertures which are tapered in different directions, the left side antennae of each pair are tapered to the left at an angle of plus α to axes of the waveguide antennae ranging from 20° to 89°, and right side antennae of each pair are tapered to the right at an angle of minus α to axes of the waveguide antennae ranging from - 20° to - 89°, the left and right side waveguide antennae are fitted by their axes and apertures tapered in different directions, where the left side half of the array aperture composed of apertures of left side antennae and the right side half of the array aperture composed of apertures of right side antennae form a single wedge-like array aperture with apex angle β° from 10° to 180°.
EFFECT: wider working sector of angles in the antenna array plane.
