FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in developing liquid-propellant rocket engines (LPE). Proposed LPE comprises chamber with nozzle, bottom protector with frame, combustion chamber swing system. Note here that nozzle is provided with flange whereto screen is attached representing truncated cone with smaller diameter secured to said flange and larger diameter secured to bottom protector or torus section with its one part secured to flange and another part attached to bottom protector frame. Said screen is made from metal thread, for example, from antirust steel grade "03Х18Н9Т-ВИ", of diameter 0.01<d<0.2 mm, while screen penetration makes 0.01<H<0.3, where d is thread diameter, H is screen penetration. Flange is made up of nozzle ring. Flange and bottom protector screen consist of at least two parts jointed together by split joint.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of heat protection, reduced overall dimensions and weight.
