FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: procedure for determination of friction ratio between plastic deformed material and tool consists in preliminary calculation of mode of deformation of tool and sample with consideration of their material and geometric sizes, in plotting diagram of process "process parameter -friction ratio" on base of obtained calculated data, and in determination of process parameter corresponding to real state of tool, sample and used lubricating material surfaces for same process. On obtained diagram there is determined friction ratio corresponding to experimentally obtained value of process parameter. As a process parameter there is used length of a branch piece of the sample produced in process of extrusion into cavity of an open die, while temperature of their heating is considered at calculation of deformation mode of the tool and sample.
EFFECT: upgraded accuracy and simplification of determination procedure of friction ratio.
