FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: sample undergoes standard tests for bending and stretching, and value of maximum possible deformation of billet material is determined according to the value of total deformation that includes deformation from creation of conventionally-cylindrical curvature with the largest relative radius and deformation that makes half of billet largest thinning, increased by value of deformation intensity exceeding. At that maximum permissible total deformation is accepted as equal to minimum value of uniform relative extension of material, which is determined by ratio from standard tests for stretching of quintuple samples, and elastic component is considered in determination of minimum permissible radiuses of bending.
EFFECT: expansion of technological resources and increase of resource saving.
