SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises parachute, halyard to fasten parachute to cargo, halyard automatic lock, altitude pickup, control unit, cable circuit interconnecting altitude pickup, control unit and halyard automatic lock. Halyard section, parallel to halyard automatic lock, has set of linear elastic elements rigidly secured thereto. Said set consists of N (N>1) linear elastic elements with preset characteristics M (N>M>0) of which comprise linear elastic element automatic lock connected by cable circuit to control unit.

EFFECT: reduced cargo speed in touchdown.
