FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology to make non-smoking nicotine-containing items. The method of production of a non-smoking item from low-grade tobacco includes preparation of formula components, extraction of cinnamon with liquid carbon dioxide to separate appropriate miscella, cutting of low-grade tobacco and dandelion root, their drying in microwave field down to residual moisture of around 20% with the microwave field capacity that ensures heating of raw materials until the temperature inside the pieces is 80-90°C, for at least one hour, their mixing, impregnation with separated miscella with extract content of 0.03% from the mixture weight with simultaneous pressure rise, pressure release down to atmospheric value with simultaneous freezing of the mixture, sublimation and removal of carbon dioxide with simultaneous swelling of the mixture, addition of cherry juice concentrate to it, sugar syrup, calcium and/or magnesium citrate and water, and shaping of the produced mixture. The mixture is prepared at the following ratio of components by weight with accuracy of ±2%: low-grade tobacco 400, dandelion root 300, cherry juice concentrate, in terms of 70% content of dry substances, 90, sugar syrup, in terms of 70% concentration, 90, calcium and/or magnesium citrate 70, water up to 1000.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to make a non-smoking nicotine-containing product from low-grade tobacco having improved organoleptic properties and extended shelf life.
