FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: piston (4) of compressor consists of device for piston guiding in direction across axis (3) and device for intermediate accumulation of kinetic energy of moving reciprocal piston (4) of compressor for change of direction of compressor piston (4) motion. The device for guiding and/or device for intermediate accumulation has elastic element (7) of composite material. Element (7) is made in form of spring (8) reinforced with carbon fibre. The invention also refers to cooling device (17), for example, to a refrigerator containing linear compressor (1) disclosed with the invention, to the procedure for compression of working medium and to the procedure of products cooling (18). Linear compressor (1) or cooling device (17) can be manufactured by a simple procedure.
EFFECT: energy saving, efficient and reliable in operation procedures for products cooling and for working medium compression.
