FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: horizontal cylinder reservoir (2) for transportation of liquefied gases at low temperature is retained on board the ship (1) on two supports (12). On each support the reservoir has internal reinforcing elements containing two adjacent perforated partitions (3) and a frame of crossed beams/stiffeners (4-7) welded between partitions (7) giving reservoir (2) strength sufficient for cargo capacity at least within the range of 40 000- 60 000 m3. Here is also disclosed procedure facilitating accurate roundness of the reservoir on the support section.
EFFECT: implementation of big autonomous cylinder reservoirs for transportation of liquefied gases.
