FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: in chemothermal heat energy transfer method there performed is endothermal reaction of steam conversion of carbon-containing substance, the non-condensed products of which are cooled and transferred to reactor of exothermic synthesis of carbon-containing substance so that water vapour is formed and carbon-containing substance is returned to endothermal reaction; at that, water vapour formed in reaction of exothermic synthesis is used in endothermal reaction. Endothermal reaction of steam conversion of carbon-containing substance is carried out at heating with nuclear reactor at temperature of more than 400 K, and exothermic synthesis reaction of carbon-containing substance is carried out at heat removal to working medium of power plant. Water vapour formed in exothermic synthesis reaction is condensed by heating of endothermal reaction products, and then supplied to evaporation and mixing with carbon-containing substance. Methane, hydrocarbons, alcohols or their mixtures are used as carbon-containing substance.
EFFECT: reduction of emission losses of excess heat to atmosphere at chemothermal heat energy transfer method.
