FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of solid materials by fluids, namely, to flushing granulated, powder or lumpy materials by hydraulic classifiers and may be used for primary dressing of minerals in conditions of extraction yard in hydraulic mining by boreholes. Proposed method proceeds from gravity separation of disintegrated minerals with rocks in fluid media. It comprises creating pressurised pulp flow in pulp transmission line. Said flow features elongated cross section and laminar structure. It comprises also forcing pulp flow along steep ballistic trajectory. Pulp jet falling on soil surface is divided into several flows, each being directed for further processing, particularly, for additional dressing, warehousing and recovery. Proposed method exploits device comprising transmission pulp line made up of interconnected tubes. Pipeline end is provided with nozzle jointed thereto. At least, end section of pulp line and nozzle have slit-like vertically stretched-out hole. Nozzle is arranged at angle to horizon to allow steep ballistic trajectory of pulp flow. Classifier is mounted on pulp flow course on soil surface that consists of catchers equipped with hydraulic transport devices.
EFFECT: higher effcieincy of primary dressing in hydraulic mining by boreholes.
