FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: claimed process realised by a combined procedure comprises strip mining with mineral slicing from top to bottom of the pit and hydraulic borehole mining below the pit bottom by working of the stopes from bottom to top. At working of the deposit including the SMD shallow and deep seams separated by the depth of hollow rock, first, worked is the shallow seam by an open-pit method at dry excavation. Then, the deep seam is worked by hydraulic borehole mining. Vertical holes are drilled from the pit cleaned bottom to the bottom of the deep seam to make the field of stopes therein within the boundaries of the pit field contour vertical projection. The worked out chambers of the stopes and the pit above the excavated stopes are filled with capping rock. SMD open-pit working at dry excavation pit is performed with the advance motion of the face at SMD excavation as compared with the face line motion at working of the deep seam during hydraulic borehole mining. The SMD underground working in the deep seam by hydraulic borehole mining is carried out with filling of capping rock in every stope directly after its complete working. The said stopes are shaped to cylinders with the mirror axes aligned with the vertical wells drilled from the pit bottom to the SMD deep seam bottom. Their height equals to the depth of the deep seam and their diameter equals to the length of the limiting stable span of hollow rock separating the said deep and shallow seams. The said stopes are staggered in lines parallel to the front of SMD excavation from the shallow seam, inter-chamber and inter-row pillars.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of excavation.
