SUBSTANCE: invention discloses methods of initiating a communication line from a first communication terminal to a second communication terminal. The first terminal receives second terminal address number input. Information relating to the selected channels used for communication with the second terminal is extracted. The collection of selected elements, representing only the used channels, is displayed on the display of the first terminal in accordance with the received address number input. Command input which selects only one of the communication channels is received. The "initiate communication" option is displayed on the display and a communication line is set up in accordance with activation of the "initiate communication" option.
