FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre-optic devices (sensors) designed to analyse composition and concentration of gaseous and liquid substances, as well as thin layers of molecules, based on planar and cylindrical hollow light guides, including hollow microstructured waveguides. In order to detect low concentrations of substances and biochemical processes, an anti-resonance interferometric system (Fabry-Perot interferometre type) is integrated into the waveguide.
EFFECT: invention enables integration of a single chip on a platform and enables to create a system for simultaneous rapid monitoring of several bioanalytes, increases sensitivity for detecting small changes in the refraction index of the analyte and detecting monolayers of biomolecules immobilised on the surface of the waveguide cladding.
