FIELD: printing industry.
SUBSTANCE: device to apply a printed image onto an external surface of bottles or similar vessels comprises at least one printing station, past the printing zone of which the vessels are conveyed on a conveyor for vessels, and also at least one printing head, and a conveying element that forms at least one conveying surface and is provided on an auxiliary conveyor. The conveying element is made with elastic and springy surface.
EFFECT: increased quality of image by compensation of gap variations between the printing head and the conveying element as a result of differences in bottle size with the elastic surface.
