FIELD: printing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sheet for printing with improved time of image drying, which contains the base including fibres of lignocellulose and water-soluble salt of bivalent metal. The value of Hercules sizing test ("HST") of the base and quantity of bivalent metal salt are selected so that the sheet for printing has a percentage of ink transfer ("IT%"), equal or less than approximately 60. At the same time the specified salt contacts with at least one surface of the base, and the salt of bivalent metal is salt of calcium.
EFFECT: proposed sheet for printing has improved time of image drying, as well as high sharpness of the edge in process of printing.
