SUBSTANCE: device comprises the first unit of exhaust treatment for cleaning from NOx, the second unit of exhaust treatment arranged serially with the first unit of exhaust treatment and designed to catch solid particles, facilities for supply of hydrocarbons into the first unit of exhaust treatment and the second unit of exhaust treatment, accordingly, and a facility to make a decision on priority, which determines the priority between the hydrocarbons supply into the first unit of exhaust treatment and hydrocarbons supply into the second unit of exhaust treatment, at the same time quantity of hydrocarbons supplied into the unit of lower priority reduces, when a request to supply hydrocarbons into the first exhaust unit and a request to supply hydrocarbons into the second exhaust unit are combined one with the other, compared to the case, when requests on supply of hydrocarbons are not combined one with the other.

EFFECT: filter regeneration and cleaning from NOx in a combined manner with prevention of excessive hydrocarbons supply.
