FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: 50/400 Hz frequency converter comprises a three-phase transformer on each limb of which there are four primary windings combined pairwise. Windings of each pair are series connected. Anti-parallel connected transistors are connected to free ends of each pair of windings. A common connection point of windings and a common connection point of the anti-parallel connected transistors are connected to supply terminals, and a first pair of windings is connected to phase supply terminals, and a second pair of the windings is connected to linear supply terminals. A phase shift of line-to-earth voltage applied to the first pair of windings, and delta voltage applied to the second pair of windings, makes an angle π/2. A tap connected through a pair of anti-parallel connected transistors to the connection point of the transistors of the related winding is provided from each primary winding to a supply phase. A control system specifies certain operation modes of the transistors that allow generating of power voltage the output curves of frequency 400 Hz and the same amplitudes due to uniform voltage distribution in coils of the primary windings.
EFFECT: higher quality of output voltage of the frequency converter.
