SUBSTANCE: offered device comprises series current sensor (1), vibration transducer (2), filter (3) with its output connected to a positive input of a first adder (5) with its negative input connected to a allowed current oscillation amplitude unit (4), an output of the first adder (5) is connected to an input of a first comparator (6) with its output connected to a pulse former (7) and a first pulse counter (8), also the output of the first comparator (6) is series connected to NOT component (9), an AND component (10), a second pulse former (11) and a second pulse counter (12). An output of the first pulse counter (8) and the second pulse counter (12) are connected respectively to negative and positive inputs of a second adder (13) with its third input connected to an output of an amplification coefficient unit (15), an output of the amplification coefficient unit (15) is also connected to a first input of a second comparator (14) with its second input connected to an output of the second adder (13), an output of the second comparator (14) is connected to a second input of the AND component (10).

EFFECT: power current oscillation suppression of an arc steel furnace due to loop amplification coefficient variations in a power current control loop.
