FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: runner of a modular suspended ceiling has a flat vertical web and a clamp arranged separately. The clamp is attached to the web at each end of the runner. The web at each end of the runner contains a section deformed in side direction outside from the web's plane. The clamp of each appropriate runner is made as capable of connection with the front part of the identical clamp of the coupled runner. At each end of the runner there are extensions interacting with each other, and sections holding the extensions. Extensions and sections are made with a fixing surface reversed backwards. Each clamp rests against the joined web along the flat zone, which passes along the web and to the sides. Fixation of the clamp to the vertical web and configuration of the web section and the clamp withstand considerable local deformation of the clamp and the section of the web as joined clamps are separated.
EFFECT: reliability and high strength of the joint.
