FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: latch for fixing an elongated finishing strip with opposite receiving grooves to the other object comprises a housing made of a metal sheet in the form of a single piece comprising the flat area for the contact with the finishing and the area for the contact with the object, arranged or made with the possibility to be positioned at the right angle to the area for the contact with the finishing. The area for the contact with the finishing has an elongated shape, characterized by a longitudinal dimension and a diagonal dimension made shorter than the longitudinal dimension. The area for the contact with the finishing is made with the possibility to pass between the opposite receiving grooves at arranging the diagonal area dimension perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the finishing strip and with the possibility for retaining in the grooves at arranging the longitudinal area dimension perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the finishing strip. In the area for contact with the finishing a cutout is made, enabling the formation of resilient deviant springy area when receiving the area for the contact with the finishing by the receiving grooves. The longitudinal dimension of the area for the contact is oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the finishing strip. The springy area forms an acute angle, which protrudes below the lowest latch edge and which is in contact with the wall inside the receiving groove at arranging the area for the contact with the finishing perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the finishing strip.
