FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: door lock has a lock body equipped with a front plate. The lock body comprises a hook-like bolt moved between the closed and opened positions with the help of a key. The hook-like bolt is arranged with the possibility of interaction with a latch plate in a door frame so that in its locking position the hook-like bolt is pulled into a hole of the latch plate, and its part of the hook is turned to the inner surface of the latch plate. The hook-like bolt comprises a plate part of the body with parts of a hook that are installed at its both sides in a rotary manner. In a locking position of the hook-like bolt the part of the body together with the parts of the hook enters into the hole of the latch plate. The part of the body is equipped with side elements made in locations of the hook parts. In a locking position of the hook-like bolt the side elements together with the part of the body and the parts of the hook are arranged so that they substantially fill the hole of the latch plate. In the longitudinal direction of the front plate the part of the body has such dimensions that in its locking position it is wider at the hole of the front plate compared to other parts of the hook-like bolt. The hole of the front plate has a separate cut for a part of the body, preferably both at the upper edge and at the lower edge of the hole.

EFFECT: development of a door lock with a hook-like bolt that has simple and reliable design, improved properties of running-in and strength characteristics.
