FIELD: locks.

SUBSTANCE: rebated door lock comprises an enclosing box-like housing configured to be placed in the door cavity, a latch, made with possibility of movement between extended position (E) and retracted position (R) in box housing, and a driving means configured to move by the control handle along the opening direction (D_A), to move the latch from the extended position (E) to the retracted position (R). Drive means is movable by means of a key-locked element along a locking direction (D_B), opposite to said opening direction (D_A), to achieve disengaged position (P_D), in which drive means is not engaged by said control handle, thereby preventing actuation of latch. Provided is a brace, configured to be actuated by means of a key-locked element from a non-working position (P_N), in which it is withdrawn inside box-like housing, into working position (P_O), in which it protrudes outside box-like housing. Drive means comprises a locking means configured to lock the latch in an extended position (E) to prevent its forced movement from the outside to the retracted position (R), when drive means is in disengaged position (P_D), in which it is not engaged with control handle.

EFFECT: invention relates to a door lock, in particular for a rebated door, and is aimed at improvement of safety and efficiency of the lock.
