SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of creation of workplaces in all areas of industry, workplaces for training processes, may be used to develop an additional support for worker's hands at workplaces in different mechanisms and machines, and also helps to develop and maintain ergonomically proper pose of a worker at a desk during long-term working, for instance, at a computer. The universal detachable armrest, which comprises the first support (10), attached to the edge of a table top (1), installed at transverse (2) and longitudinal (3) tubular crosspieces, differing by the fact that it comprises the second support (11), parallel to the plane of the table top (1) and hingedly installed in front of the tabletop (1) on the first rod (4) of polygonal section, which is movably installed in the first bracket (5) fixed on the table top (1), and on the first rod (4) there is also the first stop (16).

EFFECT: using the proposed universal detachable armrest improves ergonomic characteristics of a workplace and increases efficiency of labour operations performance on it.
