FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices intended for separating suspensions and may be used in chemical industry, mining, oil processing and metallurgy. Roll press comprises two rolls arranged to revolve and squeeze suspension by their contact surfaces at contact spot between rolls, and at least one device to separate and take off solid phase arranged to stay in contact with surface of at least one of said rolls. Rolls are mounted in tank for suspension, one inside another and off-center, while contact spot is located between inner and outer rolls above upper edge of said container.
EFFECT: simple and compact design, higher reliability and power saving.
