FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in mining, chemical industries, etc, for separation of solid fluid suspensions intended for mechanical dehydration of solid sediments of whatever effluents. Separator comprises bags of filtration material, suspensions whereto bags are connected by their top edges, device to feed pulp in bags, and fluid discharge means. In compliance with this invention, suspensions are composed of monorail whereon bags are conveyed. Fluid discharge means is composed of trough arranged under bags along monorail. Device is furnished with cake discharge means arranged downstream of trough in direction of conveying. Pulp feed means serves to feed pulp into bag located at the start of trough. Device can be flexibly arranged in industrial enterprise to filter pulp and to deliver cake to discharge side.
EFFECT: controlled cake moisture content and device efficiency.
