FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to railway car window frame designs. Railway car window comprises frame 1, glass unit 2 fitted into said frame from car inside and protective crash-proof glass 3 arranged outside of glass unit. Thrust block 4 is arranged from inside and along the frame edges to force glass frame against is from inside of the car and outer protective crash-proof glass from outside of the car. In compliance with first version, glass unit and outer protective crash-proof glass are fitted in the frame via elastic lining 5 provided with ledge that doubles as said thrust block 4. In compliance with second version, window frame comprises inner protective crash-proof glass fitted into said frame from inside of the car via spacer elastic lining, glass unit and protective crash-proof glasses fitted into said frame via elastic lining provided with ledge that doubles as said thrust block, and outer crash-proof glass.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher reliability and longer life.
