FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: according to the first version, a window frame of railway car comprises a frame (1), an insulated glasing unit (2), installed in it from inside the car, an outer protective shockproof glass (3), installed into the frame (1) outside the car. Inside the frame along the perimetre there is a stop (4) arranged to press the insulated glasing unit from inside the car. The outer protective shockproof glass (3) and the insulated glasing unit (2) are pressed to the stop (4) via elastic pads (7). The insulated glasing unit (2) rests against the frame via an elastic gasket (9). The outer protective shockproof glass (3) and the insulated glasing unit are fixed on the frame with the help of sealants (8). According to the second version, the window frame is equipped with the inner protective shockproof glass (5) installed in the frame from inside the car via an elastic gasket for spacing from the insulated glasing unit.

EFFECT: invention increases security of the insulated glasing unit and manufacturability of assembly and repair.
