FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to shipbuilding, particularly to dock ships. Dock ship features hull with decks and double bottom, dock chamber inside the hull in the form of hangar for simultaneous accommodation of large, medium and small vessels, with a channel at the hangar bottom. Channel height is equal to maximum draught of a large vessel or more, and channel width is equal to maximum width of a large vessel or more. Ledge shelves are located along upper channel edges with symmetrical hollows to the right and to the left. Mobile aft gate closing the hangar is located at the end wall of hangar, its height and width ensuring entrance and exit of a large vessel to and from the hangar. Additionally, dock ship features at least one internal mobile gate dividing the channel into at least two equal parts, with distance between internal mobile gate and bow end wall of hangar and between internal mobile gate and mobile aft gate not less than length of a large vessel. Bow part of dock ship hull features a niche for operation winches. Mobile winches for hoisting of small vessels to ledge shelves and for cargo operations at large and medium vessels are mounted on hangar ceiling.
EFFECT: possible servicing of larger number of vessels of different displacement tonnage.
