FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: slab is made of gypsum and cellulose fibres, which are moulded to form a panel. Gypsum and fibres are evenly mixed in a water-based suspension, which hardens and after is exposed to pressing and drying. The dried panel is processed to make multiple holes on its face side. Total volume of holes is sufficient to reduce panel weight by at least 10% and to increase coefficient of noise absorption. The panel is made of cellulose fibre and gypsum, in proportion of mainly from 8% to 30% in weight, which is exposed to calcination in water suspension under pressure, and afterwards it is exposed to recrystallisation in cavities and cracks of cellulose fibres.
EFFECT: increased coefficient of noise absorption and reduced falling of residual gypsum from cut holes.
