FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: intermittent-cycle air-jet engine includes namely combustion chamber, resonator pipe, inlet pipes, gas supply nozzle, gas heating coil and ignition plug. Inlet pipe of intermittent-cycle air-jet engine is cone-shaped and conic displacer is installed. Wall of combustion chamber with gas heating coil located on it is parallel to annular conical gas flow leaving the annular slot between wall of inlet pipe of intermittent-cycle air-jet engine and conical displacer.
EFFECT: increasing thermodynamic efficiency by increasing pressure pulsation amplitude.
