FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: material includes rigid support on which there located are at least two thermal elements from magnetocaloric material, magnetic means which are movable in relation to the above thermal elements so that the possible effect on thermal elements can be provided with alternating magnetic field in order to change their temperature, and accumulation means of calories and frigories generated with thermal elements. Accumulation means contain at least two separate circuits in each of which heat carrier circulates; at that, one of the circuits is heat circuit and the other one is cold circuit; at that, each of the circuits is connected at least to one heat exchanger meant for accumulation of calories and frigories, and to switching means having the possibility of being placed in turn into the circuit of the appropriate thermal element. Each thermal element contains heat carrier channels forming at least two separate header circuits. Heat carriers are brought into movement in turn in one and the other header circuit depending on the fact whether thermal element is subject to action of magnetic field and whether thermal element emits calories or frigories.
EFFECT: use of invention will allow increasing energy efficiency of generator and reducing energy consumption.
