FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: information transmission and reception system has a series of operably linked information source, unit for packing and converting (UPC) binary digital streams (BDS), modulator connected with a carrier-frequency generator, transmitter, receiver, demodulator, unit for converting and decompaction (UCD) into BDS, information consumers and, if needed, a formatting and multiple access unit, where the UPC is configured for its processor, ordered and simultaneously in one cycle, to read binary digits of BDS and convert the obtained stream of Mn-ary symbols into a stream of Mn-ary signals, and the UCD is configured to convert in its processor, simultaneously in one cycle, the stream of M-ary signals into Mn-ary symbols and accordingly into BDS, transmitted, during said reading, to consumers. The UPC is configured to generate and transmit Mn-ary signals in form of suggested time functions which depend on several parameters which satisfy defined conditions for their selection. The variety of said functions is a result of the variety of versions of sets of parameters which enable transmission of large amounts of information. Parameters of the signals are well distinguished during reception. The system enables to facilitate signal transmission with constant energy in cycles. The system is characterised by division of a group of Kn bits into subgroups in a given manner, each corresponding to its own parameter and its corresponding number of bits, selected such that their sum is equal to Kn. Restoration of a specific group during reception is therefore simplified since the subgroups with significantly fewer versions for each are restored first and the entire group of Kn bits is then restored from these subgroups in a given manner.
EFFECT: high information capacity of the information transmission and reception system.
