SUBSTANCE: network (10) has a plurality of communication centres (30a, 30b, 30c, 40), in which a first plurality (30a, 30b, 30c) comprises centres which are configured to interact through a communication medium with a second plurality of centres (40), having at least one of said centres (30a, 30b, 30c, 40). The method comprises the following steps: (a) two or more centres of said first plurality of centres are mutually synchronised, (b) one or more data packets from the mutually synchronised two or more centres of said first plurality of centres are transmitted simultaneously using a synchronised technique through said communication medium, essentially for simultaneous reception in said second plurality of centres (40). The network (10) potentially provides better quality of service (QoS), especially when taking into account handover from one centre of an access point to the other.
