SUBSTANCE: method of detecting obstructions which are hard to distinguish and capable of creating interference for helicopters and aeroplanes, involving panoramic video shooting of the surrounding space in the infrared region, followed by computer processing of the obtained video signals, where computer processing involves prefiltering and contrasting images, as well as computer processing of video images and recognising potentially hazardous obstructions using algorithms for enhancing images and recognising grid and linear structures.
EFFECT: high accuracy of detecting obstructions of any shape in difficult weather conditions.
