SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of sports and amateur fishing. The method to alarm biting includes using a source of current, a sound and/or a light signal, a block to fix the electric circuit break contacts. Contacts are activated by means of a magnetically operated sealed switch with a magnet. The magnetic core is placed in a case. The case is installed perpendicularly to the tension of the fishing line along the fishing rod in the swing zone. Magnetically operated sealed switch contacts are activated under the action of the magnet mechanical movement.

EFFECT: no false biting signals.
