FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: ventilated brake disk comprises two friction rings spaced apart to form preset-width annular gap. Friction rings are jointed together by multiple connecting crossarms arranged in said annular gap. Flow directing element is arranged in said annular gap to create turbulent flow and/or to influence airflow rate in said gap, and/or air flow speed in said gap. Friction rings to form radial ledge on one of said friction rings that makes said flow directing element feature different inner diameters. Smaller-diameter inner diameter friction ring that forms radial ledge features shape similar with that of the vane. Some swirlers made up by swirlers several spaced along the circle adjoin directly the similar-geometry vane.
EFFECT: higher efficiency cooling of brake disk.
