FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: automatic small arms include casing with barrel fixed in it, free bolt, return mechanism and housing. Free bolt is installed on guides with possibility of axial back-and-forth movement. Housing includes fore-end, pistol grip, back-plate and trigger firing mechanism. Back-plate is made in the form of a solid part from cast plastic material. Stop is installed in the housing at the contact point with the trigger during firing. Stop is made from elastic material. Stop surface area which is in contact with the trigger is at least 50% of the trigger surface area, and spot of contact of stop with trigger is maximum offset from trigger rotation axis.

EFFECT: increasing arms service life.
