SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Mobile equipment for mowing plants contains a casing and at least one rotary cutting unit. The casing is placed over the cutting unit and has a front edges oriented to create a contact with the plants located in front of the equipment. The front edge of the casing forms in the horizontal plane an angle β of 40° to 80° relative direction of forward movement of the equipment.
EFFECT: mobile equipment for mowing plants provides clean cutting and good removal of excised plants to form a roll.
