FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical imaging systems, particularly to computerised tomography. In the first version, tomography device includes at least two X-ray sources rotating around imaging area and emitting radiation in turns in the first set of angular positions during first data collection cycle and in another set of angular positions during the next data collection cycle. During device operation by the reconstruction method, two detector sets detect primary emission and generate data. Meanwhile, alternating device alternates data of the first and following data collection cycles selectively to form reconstruction data set. In the second version, tomography device includes additionally a unit for alternating emission from the first and second X-ray sources onto the imaging area during at least two cycles of data collection. And while the first X-ray source is activated the second X-ray source is switched off, and vice versa. Also the device includes units of detection of primary emission crossing imaging area, generation of data characterising detected primary emission, unit of data selection corresponding to each of at least two data collection cycles, and unit combining selected data to form reconstruction data set with required number of data samples by angles.
EFFECT: improved spatial imaging in image reconstruction.
