SUBSTANCE: invention relates to staple for sausage- or sack-like product with coating made up of packing film. Note here that staple (10, 110) has base (16, 116) and two straight tabs (12, 14, 112, 114) adjoining said base in one direction toward base (16, 116) diverging from each other from base (16, 116), tabs central lengthwise axes and base central lengthwise axis (ML) are located in one plane. Note here that said base (16, 116) has rounded circular arc section. Note also that one shaped recess (122) runs along all opposed planes of base (16, 116) and those of both tabs (12, 14, 112, 114). Besides, said staples may be hooked together by connection ledges (18, 20, 118, 120) made on open ends of tabs (12, 14, 112, 114).
EFFECT: ruling out crack formation in staples.
