FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of cleaning of natural waters and effluents. Proposed method comprises coagulation, flocculation of coagulated particles, precipitation in thin layer using flange units. In compliance with this invention, precipitation is performed in electric field of chemical current sources made up of electrically positive and negative flanges. Note here that water flow rate makes 1.2-2.8 m/h. Proposed device comprises: case with inclined bottom, thin-layer module made up of inclined elements arranged in parallel lines, water feed and discharge devices, sediment discharge branch pipe, flocculation chamber, skimmer to extract floating substances and their collector. Note that inclined elements are made up of parallel flanges from electrically positive and negative materials to make chemical current sources. Note here that adjacent sources are isolated by dielectric plates while all like-polarity electrodes are connected by buses with load resistor there between. Note also that aluminium is used as said electrically negative material while copper is used as electrically positive material. Dielectric plates are made from fluoroplastic. Mind that distance between aforesaid flanges makes 13-15 mm.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaning.
