SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of silicates and compositions of ceramic mixtures which can be used in making facing tiles. The ceramic mixture for making facing tiles contains loess-like loam, kaolinite clay, liquid potassium glass and ground quartz, with the following ratio of components in wt %: loess-like loam 62.0-65.0; kaolinite clay 10.0-15.0; liquid potassium glass 1.0-1.5; ground quartz 21.5-24.0.
EFFECT: high water resistance of articles.
