FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: shot charger comprises a wad container made in the form of a sleeve. The wad container has a chamber for shot, a side wall, a bottom and a sealing collar. In the side wall of the wad container there are four through slots forming tabs so that surfaces of adjacent tabs contact in slots. Planes of adjacent slots are at the angle of 90° relative to each other. The collar has two sections with various thickness of its wall. The section at the end of the collar is made with smaller thickness than a subsequent section arranged closer to the head part of the shell. On the outer surface of the collar there is a circular ledge to remove powder and a ledge for air bleeding. The ledge for air bleeding is arranged at the end of the collar and has higher height compared to height of the circular ledge.
EFFECT: improved ballistic characteristics.
