FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for determining the compound of hydrocarbons in reservoir beds of oil-gas wells involves determination of porosity factor (Kn) of the investigated bed by using 2TDTL (thermal-decay-time logging), calculation of porosity function F(Kn) - as ratio of intensity of flows of thermal neutrons on small and large probes of 2TDTL method, calculation of chlorine "hard" function P(C1_h) - spectral intensities of GIR3 in the area of more than 2.3 MeV, chlorine "soft" function F(C1_s) - spectral intensities of GIR3 in the area of less than 2.3 MeV; calculation of function F(C1_nnl) by using flow intensities of thermal neutrons on large and small probes of 2TDTL method; build-up on cross-floats P(C1_h) on F(Kn), F(C1_s) on F(Kn), F(C1_nnl) on F(Kn) dependences corresponding to water-saturated beds (WSB), oil-saturated beds (OSB), and gas-saturated beds (GSB); calculation of chlorine mass function - P[M(C1_h)], F[M(C1_s)], F[M(C1_nnl)], which are related to chlorine content in collector, and calculation of oil saturation and gas saturation as per the specified formula.
EFFECT: enlarging the application area and increasing the informativity of determination of complex mixture of hydrocarbons in beds of oil-gas wells.
