FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: in a nuclear power plant a refrigerator-radiator is equipped with additional four panels arranged outside and made as sectors of cylindrical shape, every of which is connected to a rigid part of the refrigerator-radiator via a hinged joint installed at its end. Axes of hinged joints are arranged at the angle of 90° and provide for simultaneous rotation of sectors in four mutually perpendicular planes. Hinged joints are equipped with electric drives for rotation of cylindrical sectors and hinged-bellows units for transfer of coolant at them from the rigid part of the refrigerator-radiator. The refrigerator-radiator is equipped with guides, along which a spacecraft payload may move forward from under the refrigerator-radiator and turned additional cylindrical sectors of the refrigerator-radiator.

EFFECT: compact placement of a nuclear power plant in start position with a refrigerator-radiator and a compartment of a spacecraft payload.
