FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing catalysts. Described is a method of producing a zeolite based catalyst for alkylation of paraffin hydrocarbons with olefins, involving treatment of zeolite Y with aqueous solutions of salts of ammonium, calcium and rare-earth elements, washing, drying and calcinations, where in order to obtain a catalyst with high activity, selectivity and longer periods between regenerations for treating zeolite, post-synthetic modification is used, based on successive operations for decationation, dealumination, as well as ion-exchange, for which sodium cations are first replaced with ammonium cations, with ultra-stabilisation in the stream of aqueous vapours at temperature 600-650°C for 3 hours, followed by ion-exchange with calciuma and rare-earth element cations, with concentration of aqueous solutions of salts equal to 0.3-1.5 M, at temperature 70-180°C, with intermediate washing-filtration, drying at 120°C for 4-6 hours and calcination at 500-550°C for 3 hours, carried out after each exchange step.
EFFECT: obtaining a catalyst for alkylation of paraffin hydrocarbons with olefins, having high activity, selectivity and long periods between regenerations.
